Remarkd (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have regarding your data. By using Remarkd, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address. If you sign in via Google or GitHub, we receive your name and email from those providers.
Feedback links and questions
We store the feedback links you create, the questions you write, and any configuration you set for those links.
Responses
We store the responses submitted through your feedback links. Respondent identities are never collected. We do not store names, email addresses, IP addresses, or any other identifying information about respondents.
Usage data
We may collect basic analytics such as page views and feature usage to improve the Service. This data is aggregated and not linked to individual users.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset, reply notifications)
- To respond to your support requests
- To detect and prevent fraud or abuse
- To improve and develop new features
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Remarkd:
- Supabase — authentication and database hosting. Your account data is stored securely in Supabase. See Supabase Privacy Policy.
- Resend — transactional email delivery. Your email address is used to send account and notification emails. See Resend Privacy Policy.
- Google / GitHub — optional OAuth sign-in. We only receive your name and email from these providers.
5. Cookies
Remarkd uses cookies solely for authentication purposes (to keep you signed in). We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may prevent you from signing in.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data and feedback links for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Data portability

8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. All data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in encrypted databases. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
9. Children's Privacy
Remarkd is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
